The results of the ESM session at the World Resources Forum 2015 in Davos are now published. Speakers included Prof. Tom Graedel, University of Yale, Prof. Gian Andrea Blengini, European Commission, and several other experts from Switzerland and abroad.
From October 2014 to January 2015, the ESM conducted an online survey about rare materials within the Swiss industry, following the model of a Dutch survey conducted in 2012 by the Materials innovation institute (M2i) and the Netherlands Organisation for Applied Scientific Research (TNO) with the title „Critical materials and The Netherlands – a view from the industrial-technological sector”. In collaboration with the Project Group Materials Recycling and Resource Strategies of the Fraunhofer Society (Germany), Europe’s largest application-oriented research organization, ESM has started in 2015 a series of reports on Rare and Critical Elements. The first two reports on the service capacity of Cobalt and Molybdenum are now printed and available for purchase in German language for 290,- CHF each.
